Happening today in Sydney: Environmentalism for a Modern Australia. This is a one-day conference bringing together people who believe we can build an environmental movement fit for the 21st century, one that is evidence-led, willing to challenge old assumptions, and focused on real outcomes for both people and the planet. WePlanet Australia’s new National Manager Tyrone D’Lisle will deliver the keynote. You will also hear from three speakers on sustainable food systems, the footprint of the energy transition, and the governance of emerging climate technologies. After lunch, we move from ideas to action in collaborative breakout spaces. Whether you are a lifelong activist or simply looking for a place that shares your hope for a better future, you are welcome. Come help shape the next evolution of Australia’s environmental movement. 📍 Green Square Community Spaces, Zetland ⏰ 10am–5pm AEDT 🎟️ RSVP at the link below, tickets still available. https://www.weplanetaustralia.org/event-details/environmentalism-for-a-modern-australia #auspol #Environmentalism https://go.fusionparty.org.au/y2slG
