Act Party, Stats Failures, and Alleged Voter Disenfranchisement Target New Zealand Democracy

It has been incredibly sad to watch this #NZPol govt default to racism, victim blaming and division as a way of distracting the #Aotearoa #NewZealand public from their colossal social and economic failures since taking control in late 2023. As a pākehā NZer, born in the 60's, I have witnessed the slow but mana enhancing transition of this country in its attempts to right the wrongs of the past. In many ways there's been efforts from both right and left politicians to #ToitūTeTiriti. No matter how inconsistent it has been it has always felt like slowly but surely the NZ public is becoming more aware of its obligations and failings of the past and moving forward. Under this #Luxon led govt of neoliberal racist oligarch enthusiasts turning the clock back to a time before I was born, I know longer recognise the country I was born as Tāngāta Tiriti. I want to know from #NZTwits how we collectively stop this from continuing and what we must do to turn this shit train around?
