For All Mankind, has returned to Apple TV with Season 5. They've released two episodes thus far. It's my understanding it has been renewed for a 6th and final season. As there's sometimes a year long gap between seasons, I'm grateful for the early renewal. This series is a bit of revisionist history, about the US going to the moon and never really stopping the space program, and eventually ending up on Mars. Corporations now dominate the space program. Apparently there's going to be a spinoff, about Russia's space agency. Loving the sci-fi 🙂 #AppleTV #ForAllMankind

The new #season of #ForAllMankind is an excellent example of actual, for-real #ScienceFiction. #SciFi is at it's best when the backdrop of #futuristic #space and #technology is just used as a preamble to talk about today's #social and #political issues, and hot damn is this season EXACTLY that. Well so does For All Mankind, an alternative history narrative about the early years of NASA's moon flight program. Just finished episode 3 and it's getting really interesting.
