#ScribesAndMakers 2 Do you think it's important for authors to use different pen names for different genres? Everything the public has seen so far is under my own name, except an "Ask Mr. History Person" column, which everyone knew was written by me. A short mystery story submission and my current WIP are using a pen name.

#ScribesAndMakers 2nd Oct 2026. Do you think it's important for authors to use different pen names for different genres? No. I think one should use a pseudonym for security, if needed. Other reasons may exist, but I struggle to think of an important one.
