@ascentale @epu @bikenite #BikeNite A2. I have researched this a bit, and it looks like there are people who take Brompton's (as luggage) on planes, YMMV. That said... I think 300 lbs is going to definitely push the limits of any folding bike to the safety limit. The Chinese (mass market) folding bike I have would NOT be able to handle 300 lbs. I'm approx. 190 or so and I am suspicious that is not far from the limit esp. with rougher terrain. A lot of *non-folders *suffer at 300 lbs, definitely check specs. Not the answer you're looking for i am sure, but anyway.

Folding bikes typically have pretty low weight limits, so you'd almost certainly have to go with a bike specifically made to handle more weight.

This is the only folding bike I can think of that will safely accommodate you. It's unfortunately not cheap (but then, neither is any top-quality folding bike).
