I would ask people not to go to coachella because of the owner donating almost a million of dollars to homophobic organizations, but I'm guessing not too many people here go to coachella?
This seems more like a "go see a punk band play in a grove in the woods" than a "pay a month worth of rent to see an expensive gig" sort of place.
Anyway, if I'm wrong and you were planning on going to Coachella, then consider not doing that, k thx bai

Governor Newsom says Coachella and Stagecoach generate more than $700 million annually for California. That’s a useful reminder that major festivals are not only cultural spectacles they’re also economic systems touching tourism, jobs, and local business.

The #Coachella Festival was created in 1999 as a reaction / protest against high ticket prices in other venues (which have been controlled by #ticketmaster).
In 2026 a regular festival ticket for a weekend costs 700$ and a pack of food (including a drink) costs approx. 50$.
You could say, they have overcome their sources. 😂 😠
