Q2: @MakersHour We’ve talked about how you motivate yourself…but how would you help a demotivated Maker friend? A2: Hmmmm…. I think I would try the thing that works on me, which is to ask them for help solving a problem. I would then encourage them to work on the problem with me ‘because it is helping me’ and, hopefully, that would get them more motivated to do something else, too. #MakersHour

@MakersHour Q2 We’ve talked about how you motivate yourself…but how would you help a demotivated Maker friend? #MakersHour A2: Hm... there are many ways, but it's been a long time since I could do that. I know I was/am good at this when teaching. Both in school and when giving my own courses. Often I think it is about how to let go of ideas where you're stuck and to give a few possible alternative ways to start our continue. And of course most of the time its just about lending my ear
