Donal Lunny, what a great musician, including his time in the Bothy Band:

Dónal Lunny has died at 79. Irish traditional music has lost one of its great builders: Planxty, the Bothy Band, Moving Hearts, and the bouzouki, which he made at home in the tradition.

Our sympathies to his family, his friends, the musicians who played beside him, and his fans around the world.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
