With thanks to someone on 🦋 eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

I’ve just received the eBay email ‘Updates to our User Privacy Notice’. eBay chose NOT to draw people’s attention to using your data to train AI models. It seems a fairly innocuous email & so I thought “yeah, I’ll look at it later.” eBay purposely CHOSE not to tell people in an open and honest manner, in the email, of the intention to use people's data to train AI models, and that they had automatically opted you IN to this. Opt out here https://accountsettings.ebay.co.uk/ai-preferences
