Far-Right Figures Instigate Protests at Portland ICE Facility; Community Condemns Law Enforcement Inaction

Far right instigator and grifter Peter Walter Patrick (aka Conspiretard), of Coos Bay, Oregon has taken to social media to claim an end to “Patriot Corner.” For those unfamiliar, that’s what the far right assholes have been calling the area at the Portland, OR ICE facility where the far right tends to gather as people protest against ICE. They frequently instigate altercations, start fights, and spew hateful rhetoric and slurs as obnoxiously as possible while manufacturing content and false narratives for their live streams and Twitter feeds. He is claiming an end to this chapter and the beginning of what they are now calling “Rose City Patriots” (which lol because barely any of them are even from rose city). Their stated goal is to “stand firmly against Antifa” and attend more events and disrupt more protests outside of the ICE facility. Not sure how much will actually change considering this group has already been showing up to other events outside of ICE in Portland. And although they have been relatively small, they have still been both violent and disruptive. Also worth noting with this shift the attempt to recruit more fascists. So just something to be aware of and be on the lookout for. A few months ago Peter dressed up in a skull mask to menace children and families at a Coos Bay community dance and Pride event. He arrived with two other fash assholes, Chris Sims and Daniel Vrosh (Danny Rebel). They harassed the Pride Prom and drag show and attempted to intimidate attendees and event staff. The two people he showed up with (who are from Washington) also have quite the track record of inciting violence and harassing people. Including filming and harassing children during school walk outs. The three of them showed up to disrupt the All Ages Pride Prom Drag Show after a call to counter it was put out by right wing extremist Chris Tough aka "Himwho.” Chris has a long history of being affiliated with the areas far right street fighter types, including Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer, and threepers. #portland #pdx
