#last4watched for #letterboxdFriday Two really bad ones and two really good ones. I’ve been on a Coen brothers binge lately. No Country for Old Men is a really good movie. Just not for me, with all the killing, blood and gore. Drive Away Dolls just doesn’t work. And neither does Gamer, a 2009 action movie. It feels cheap and the script is horrendous. The Grand Budapest Hotel I love. That was a rewatch

#last4watched for #letterboxdFriday Just rewatched Aliens for the first time in many years. Very good, I just like the first better. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was also a rewatch after many years. It was the first time I saw Michelle Yeoh, and I’ve always enjoyed her work after. Kung Fu Panda 2, like part 1, has a lot of heart. 12 Angry Men was homework back when I was at uni. It’s a classic for a reason. Overall a very good week. #movies #lastfourwatched

Happy #LetterboxdFriday ! Rough week for movie watching. Faces of Death started super promising before tailing off. Exit 8 was good but left too much meat on the bone. College is my least favorite Keaton feature so far (and not only because of the blackface, although that certainly didn't help). You, Me, & Tuscany was exactly what I expected. But at least Halle Bailey and Rege-Jean Page are good actors with solid chemistry. And I wasn't sad to stare at them for nearly two hours. #movies

#Last4Watched for #LetterboxdFriday. Interesting ones this week. Loved Bone Temple. 'What You Wish For' is one of the darkest, most fucked up movies I've ever seen. And that's saying a LOT, I love body horror, etc. SERIOUSLY, it's brutal.
