FIMI-RESIST is a European project aimed at evaluating and harmonizing existing tools and approaches to counter foreign information manipulation and interference.

🔔 We're part of a new project! True to its name, FIMI-RESIST focuses on "Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference", or FIMI. "The project partners will examine which existing (European) tools, services and approaches are designed to support the likes of #journalists and fact checkers, among others, to effectively counter FIMI in all its forms and guises." 👉 Find out more: https://innovation.dw.com/articles/dw-partners-information-manipulation-fimi-resist #verification

We - that is @dw_innovation and an additional nine partners from across Europe - kicked off another project in the countering disinformation space. It's called FIMI-RESIST. A core aim of this EU co-funded undertaking: to evaluate existing solutions and approaches, trying to bring them together in an effort towards a harmonized framework, therewith countering so-called Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI). I wrote about it on the DW blog, where you can find out more: https://innovation.dw.com/articles/dw-partners-information-manipulation-fimi-resist. Edited, guided and promoted by my dear colleagues @lxplm and @Olivia_Luise.
