Il presidente Usa Donald Trump ha fatto sapere a Abc News che il suo vice JD Vance non si recherà in Pakistan per il secondo round di colloqui con l'Iran. 
Trump ha dichiarato che la sua delegazione con Witkoff e Kushner arriverà a Islamabad lunedì, ma che i servizi segreti non erano riusciti a organizzare la scorta di Vance con poco preavviso. 
"E' solo per motivi di sicurezza", ha detto Trump, "JD è fantastico". 
La Casa Bianca invece conferma la presenza del vice presidente Vance ai prossimi colloqui in Pakistan.
