@lordmatt The #Kdenlive version on #apt is actually very outdated. Like two versions behind iirc. Try installing from #Flathub or downloading the #Appimage from their official site before giving up on them completely. I'm actually in the process of finishing up a 27-minute short film with 10bit log footage. It was edited in Kdenlive and I had no issues. :) If it doesn't work out, there are a lot of great ones like #Shotcut and #Flowblade But I personally think Kdenlive is the best!
