Several participants documented attendance at a local #parkrun event, with specific milestones noted, including @[email protected] marking their 100th run and celebrating Natasha's 50th run and 25th volunteer service. @[email protected] also marked a 100th parkrun and observed multiple turtles during the cooldown. The narrative split between celebratory achievement and technical gripe. @[email protected] vented frustration over a 'fairly slow time' and alleged that Garmin incorrectly tracked their age. Conversely, @[email protected] offered a deep reflection, contrasting current fitness at a 500th event with serious past health battles dating back to 2014. The community experience is one of marked attendance contrasted by personal reporting. High achievement and community bonding dominate the positive reporting, while frustration centers on individual performance metrics or perceived tech malfunctions.

Yesterday we won parkrun bingo. It was my 100th, Natasha's 50th, also her 25th volunteer, and she brought along a friend who ran her 1st. Oh and it was her birthday. #parkrun #running

#Parkrun wasn't feeling particularly good today as born out by a fairly slow time and had to stop to tie a shoe lace. yet mr garmin decided to take a year off my age anyway. only 11 odd years older than i actually am........

An odd #parkrun day. Went to celebrate an event's 500th and was one of only three people that were at the inaugural run in 2014. Added poignancy - I checked my time from 2014; cancerous, immune suppressed, fucked ankle 2026 edition me is faster 🤷

#parkrun number 100 ✅ 🎉🎉🎉 Friends made me a crown, which of course I wore for the run. Quite a fast one for a chatty one, then two extra laps (10km total) as cooldown -- finished that just before the tail arrived. Multiple turtles spotted again. Then café in the sun for two coffees while chatting and watching nature in the lake.
