#PennedPossibilities 1168. Does your world have any mythology creatures? Can you describe their lore to us? So here's the thing: My WIP is set in a place populated by fairytale and nursery rhyme characters, with the MCs being teenaged Jack and Jill, and grandmothers being discovered dead in their cottages in the forest. In this world, some people believe in magic, superstition, mythological creatures, astrological influence on events, and the like. Others believe only in nature and science. The time is pre-industrial, but post-renaissance and the people have a mix of older and newer views. Jack and Jill actually have somewhat conflicting views in this regard. So such creatures are mentioned, but whether or not they exist is left up in the air.

#PennedPossibilities 1168 Does your world have any mythology creatures? Can you describe their lore to us? As "my world" is the same as the one we all live in but in the year 1963 there are enough critters I could choose from. Anyway the trope of the story is a pure scientific one, so mythology creatures aren't a thing to my protagonists.
