The Auschwitz concentration camp was used to systematically murder Jewish individuals, including young children, during World War II.

5 August 1928 | A French Jewish girl, Bella Rubin, was born in Paris. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 19 July 1942 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy together white her mother Marta and a younger sister Micheline. They were all murdered in a gas chamber.

4 August 1943 | A French Jewish girl, Marguerite Sznajderman, was born in Paris. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 12 February 1944 in a transport of 1,500 Jews deported from Drancy. She was among 1,229 of them murdered in gas chambers after the selection. She was 6 months old.
