Voting in Brazil extended by 2 hours after buses were stopped to prevent voting in numerous cities including Salvador and Sao Paolo, but despite the extra time, many voting sites are closed, voting machines shut down and boxed up. at some sites, they are slowly reopening, highly confused situation.
edit: the head of the Superior Electoral Court, a Bolsonarist, failed to make any decision on the extension before voting closed, despite having ~5 hours to do so, and the Supreme Court instead made the decision. deliberate and criminal dereliction of duty.

Things took a darker turn in the Brazilian elections. A ruling by the Federal Supreme Court gave Brazilians an additional two hours to vote before the Superior Electoral Court could make a decision.
But the measure came too late, after the standard cutoff time, and many voting machines had already been sealed or were being collected. Once sealed, the electronic voting machines cannot be reopened.
Now the tally of votes already counted has resumed. The future is uncertain in this electoral process. The Bolsonaros may lodge a complaint if they lose, as may their foreign allies.
