Burn ban has now been extended to include 9 more Georgia CSRA counties. The only counties NOT under the burn ban now are: Hancock, Taliaferro & Wilkes. Lincoln County has been under the burn ban since Friday, April 17, along with 4 other Georgia CSRA counties that are within driving distance of South Carolina. Many North Carolina counties have now been added to the burn ban as well, expanding outside of the Charlotte area, which, like the Augusta area, has been under a burn ban since Apr. 17.

Should go without saying, but we know it won’t: All of South Carolina has been under a burn ban since April 17, simultaneous to five Charlotte area NC counties and five Augusta area GA counties.
