The election of progressive candidates in Toronto represents a significant shift in local governance.

A huge congratulations to Olivia Chow and the incredible slate of progressive councillors elected in Toronto tonight. This win goes beyond any one person or campaign — it’s the result of years of movements organizing together, from tenant unions to climate activists, migrant rights advocates and those on the front lines of harm reduction. You mobilized and knocked on every last door to make this happen. Tonight, you’ve secured a better future for Toronto together. #canada #toronto

Congratulations Toronto! It’s great to see Torontonians show up to vote and reelect our progressive Mayor Olivia Chow and giving a big night to progressive candidates across the city! Congratulations also to those who were elected for the first time. #TorontoPoli #Toronto #raccoon #linocut #printmaking
