The Polyglot Software Unconference provides a collaborative environment where participants pitch and vote on discussion topics across various programming languages.

Last year I attended the Polyglot Software Unconference in Vancouver for the first time. I wrote notes about the event, but never really published it. 🫣 The event is back on October 17, so I thought it could help provide insight about what an unconference is actually like. So here is a belated blog post about it https://mariatta.ca/posts/polyglot-unconference-2025-recap/ If you're a member of PyLadies Vancouver community, grab a 20$ discount code! https://vancouver.pyladies.com/blog/polyglot-unconference-2026/ #Vancouver #Unconference #PyLadiesVancouver #PyLadies

The Polyglot Software Unconference is back! 📅 Saturday October 17, 8am–5pm, 📍 UBC Robson Square. No scheduled speakers, no slides: everyone pitches topics in the morning, the room votes, and the day fills with ~40 discussion sessions across every language and stack. This year the Polyglot Unconference team kindly gave PyLadies Vancouver members a $20 discount code. 💛 How to claim it, plus first-timer tips: https://vancouver.pyladies.com/blog/polyglot-unconference-2026/ #PyLadies #PyLadiesVancouver #Vancouver #Unconference
