The Ukrainian government has postponed funding for critical energy infrastructure protection and social construction projects until December due to a lack of funds.

🇺🇦 Part of Ukraine’s energy-sector preparations for winter has been postponed until December due to a lack of funding, said Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee Chair Roksolana Pidlasa. The protection of energy facilities, as well as the construction and reconstruction of hospitals, shelters, and social housing, has been delayed first. The preparations won’t help.

"The Ministry of Finance has postponed spending on winter preparations for the energy sector until December due to a lack of funds," reported MP Roksolana Pidlasa. According to her, the funding was deferred for capital expenditure items, including construction and renovation (such as hospitals), the construction of shelters in hospitals and schools, energy infrastructure protection, and the construction of social housing.
