RE: https://journa.host/@ScottLucas/117375309710709708 #Zelensky asked #Trump "several times" for sanctions on Russian and #China companies involved in #Russia 's Rassvet satellite network, an alternative to Starlink Warned network would improve the precision of Russian airstrikes #Ukraine #UkraineWar

❗️ Zelenskyy has urged Donald #Trump to sanction #Russian and Chinese firms allegedly involved in developing Rassvet, a planned satellite communications network that could compete with Elon Musk’s #Starlink. Zelenskyy claims #Russia and #China are cooperating on the project and says the system could begin operating as early as late 2026 or early 2027.

#Zelensky asked #Trump to block the "Rassvet" satellite system, Russia's counterpart to #Starlink. He stated this in an interview with the Financial Times. According to him, #China has also become involved in the "Rassvet" project, so #sanctions should be imposed on Chinese companies as well.
