Australian documentary filmmaker and Global Sumud Flotilla participant Juliet Lamont told Double Down News that she was sexually assaulted by Israeli soldiers after the aid vessel she was traveling on was intercepted earlier this month. Lamont says that, while in detention, soldiers removed parts of her clothing and that an Israeli soldier sexually assaulted her. She was among more than 450 activists detained when Israeli forces intercepted the flotilla in international waters.
