The ceasefire agreement in Gaza has not led to the suspension of military attacks or the full entry of humanitarian aid as promised.

A child was being killed each day in the Gaza enclave despite an agreement for "the suspension of military attacks and the full entry of humanitarian aid and relief," UNICEF warned. The UNICEF official said children had heard promises before, adding: "This time, agreements must translate into action."
