The European Union cannot provide Ukraine with the required amount of air defense systems due to member states having exhausted their stockpiles and the defense industry needing time to produce new weapons.

The European Union cannot provide #Ukraine with the amount of air defense systems it needs because member states lack sufficient stocks, Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev said at a military and space conference in Brussels. He said that the #EU could not provide Ukraine with the amount of air defense systems it required because member states had already transferred all available systems, while the defense industry needed time to produce new ones.

The European Union can no longer supply #Ukraine with the necessary amount of air defense systems, stated Bulgarian Prime Minister Radev: "We no longer have such assets; we have already handed everything over. The defense industry needs time to produce new weapons."
