The Principia community site has been pulled offline due to two high severity remote code execution vulnerabilities in PHP core. A patch was planned to be released at 14:00 GMT today by the PHP team, but reports of the vulnerability being exploited in the wild have already appeared. There are no signs of compromise on the server currently, and I am keeping things offline until a patch is out which will likely drop earlier with how things are escalating. If you run anything on PHP I would advise you to do the same. #php #foss #opensource

The server has been updated with the latest PHP containing fixes for the two high severity remote code execution vulnerabilities. The Principia community site is back up again and operating normally. https://principia-web.se I remain confident that no compromise of the server happened in the time before I took it down earlier today. Anyone else running ANYTHING with PHP needs to UPDATE IMMEDIATELY(!!!) as the exploitation of unpatched PHP versions will likely ramp up further now that detailed disclosures have been made. #php #foss #opensource #sandbox #game
