Ukrainian forces have damaged key workshops and air-defense systems at Russia's Kombinat Kamensky defense plant, which produces solid rocket fuel and components for Russian missile systems.

❗️Ukrainian forces hit at least 5 workshop buildings at Russia’s Kombinat Kamensky defense plant in Rostov region, penetrating several layers of air defenses from Pantsir to S-300 systems. The plant produces solid rocket fuel for Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S MLRS, as well as other missile and aviation systems. Key workshops had anti-drone protection and were surrounded by earthworks. Several air-defense vehicles were also hit, with damage still being assessed. #Ukraine

❗️Ukraine’s General Staff says two workshops were destroyed and four more damaged at Russia’s Kombinat Kamensky in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region, during the August 16 strike. The six affected workshops produced explosives and gunpowder. The defense plant also manufactures solid rocket fuel used in ammunition for Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S MLRS, as well as a number of Russian missile systems and aviation weapons. #Ukraine
